WHAT'S NEW AT THE
NOBEL PARK & LIBRARY


Project status as of March 2007: Playground equipment, shade shelters, and picnic areas are complete. Interior finishes on the buildings are underway, and landscaping is proceeding.

The current completion date for design and construction is April 2007.

Community Concerns: The appropriate venue to express concerns or to hear updates on this project is the monthly meeting of the University Community Planning Group (UCPG). The UCPG Executive committee regularly meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Forum Hall, University Towne Center, above Wells Fargo Bank. The public is cordially invited, and will be given an opportunity to be heard on matters before the Executive Committee. Time is also set aside to receive public comment relating to land use issues in the community, which are not on the agenda, not to exceed 3 minutes each. The Executive committee may not take action on off-agenda items. However, the subject may be docketed for a future meeting when appropriate action may be taken.
